Constitution Wins TAP Award

tap-ambassador-award-constitution-elementary-small Constitution Elementary School was surprised with the Teacher Advancement Program (TAP) Ambassador Award, which comes with a financial prize of $5,000. The award honors a TAP school that has gone beyond its campus to represent the principles of the TAP system and assist others in the state, region and nation.

Summer Meals

Constitution Elementary School will be offering free meals this summer. Any child 18 years and younger may eat for free.

Meals will be offered Monday – Friday from June 3 – July 26.

Breakfast will be served from 8:00 AM – 9:00 AM in the school cafeteria.

Lunch will be served from 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM in the school cafeteria.

Adult breakfast ($1.00) and lunch ($2.00) will also be available for a small cost.

All meals include an entrée, fruits and vegetables and cold milk. Monthly menus will be posted in the cafeteria and printed menus will be available to take home.

Constitution is a TAP school!

TAP Constitution has been designated a TAP school starting in the 2011-2012 school year. The federal Teacher Incentive Fund Grant has been awarded to DVUSD led by Arizona State University in coordination with the U.S. Department of Education, Arizona Department of Education, and the National Institute for Excellence in Teaching. The goals of the grant project include increasing student achievement, retaining highly effective educators, and fostering exemplary school culture in the highest-need communities across the state.
